Jumping is good for you.
It just depends on how you do the jumping, that’s the thing. Otherwise you’re going to injure yourself, right. A good place to do your jumping is on the trampoline. Finding one that’s just right for your home garden or yard is pretty darn easy, I have to say. All you need to do is jump right down to your nearest mall or hypermarket and grab a well-designed brand.
You can get one for your kids too, by the way. It’s pretty safe too. If you’ve got enough yard space, you can install one of those large-sized square trampolines that allow a couple of kids on at a time. Kids love playing with each other. They don’t even realize that while they’re having such a good time on the jumping mat, they’re exercising all parts of their body, all at the same time. But us? Us grown-ups today seem to find it much harder to get out there and exercise our bodies just as Mother Nature intended.
And that’s why many folks out there have lost the plot and let everything go to, well, I’ll allow you to choose your own expletive here. Basically, in a nutshell, modern man and woman have put on a lot of weight. They’ve become pretty darn lazy with the excuse being that they’re so darn tired by the time they’ve finished work for the day, all they really want to do is crash into the couch and watch TV for the rest of the night before dragging themselves off to bed. Watching TVs okay too, it just depends what you’re watching and how much of it you’re watching.
One of the reasons why many of you are so darn tired is that you’ve quite literally woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I’m moving right along past the usual grogginess and straight into the kitchen. Many folks seem to avoid this important area in the morning like it was the plague or something. A quick cup of Joe downtown is the thing they seem to look forward to the most in the morning. That’s after they’ve chugged their lungs with the city’s smog. Do this rather and you’ll start feeling top of the morning.
Start doing this healthy chug for the rest of your life and you’ll be feeling top of the world for the rest of your life. Of course, you’re going to do all that other stuff too if you want to be healthy, fit, slim, trim and well. The big skip your breakfast bang is your juice. It can be any flavor you want it to be, from your simple orange juice to a cocktail juice with a rich medley of a number of flavors. But of course, there’s nothing simple about a straight up orange juice. That’s because it’s rich in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and other fruity nutrients.
The two famous vitamins are vitamin C and D. C is good for helping you lose weight. While D helps give your skin a healthy glow, amongst other things. I read something really neat the other day about the mysterious goji berry. Yup, I had to check my dictionary just moments ago because I’ve hardly used this word in writing. I wasn’t sure I got the spelling right. Not even my spellchecker recognizes this word yet. Anyway, it got me thinking more about the family of berries. I’d make a big push for more berries in my juice diets during the week if I was you.
And another thing, juicing is all good and well, and it’s really great and all, but it’s not going to be the be all and end all of your mission to lose weight one time and starting trimming the fat towards becoming healthy again. You need your exercise, and I spoke about this earlier in the article. Exercise never needs to be boring, so go in for things that are fun to do. Like jumping on the trampoline. That’s fun and I love it. Then there’s your diet, from breakfast to lunch to dinner, and everything else in-between. And it starts with breakfast.
I’d suggest kick-starting your day with a bowl of rolled oats with a few berries sprinkled over the top. You can spoon in some fresh organic yogurt instead of using milk if you want to. I find it to be a lot tastier that way. Also, if you’ve got a really sweet tooth like me, you can sprinkle a bit of cinnamon over the top. They say honey’s better because it’s got even more antioxidants, minerals and vitamins in it. And you’ll be surprised to learn that the darker and more raw your honey is, the richer in taste it will be. Go on; try it out why don’t you already.
Anyway, my time with you is almost up, so we’ll have to start thinking about saying those good-byes. Sigh, time really flies when you’re having a good time. Anyway, I was asked to give a talk on the so-called juice craze. I was also tasked with telling you guys why now is a good time to jump right on in. Well, duh, that’s like stating the obvious, because slurping on a juice every morning and every afternoon after your workout is, like, really good for you. I’ve also given you enough clues as to why this is the case. Also note that it’s a great supplement for ditching white sugar.
White sugar has loads of calories but it has sweet nothing in terms of nutritional value.
The more of it you take in, the greater the chances are that you can contract the nasties. Yep, that’s right; I’m talking about heart disease and type two diabetes. Now, guys, you really don’t need that in your life. So, guys get your act together and jump right on to the juicing bandwagon and start making your own juices.
